Myles Garrett has officially entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Of course, he’s not inducted yet, but if you are venturing to Akron/Canton any time soon, you can get an up-close look at history as Garrett’s uniform from his record-breaking 23rd sack is on display:

Even though the 2025 season was a terrible one for the Browns, one that saw their head coach fired after the conclusion of the season, it will always be remembered for Garrett chasing history. In the final quarter of the final game, Garrett still hadn’t gotten to Joe Burrow, but then the record-breaking sack happened, and it was glorious. Now, with Todd Monken hired as the Browns’ new head coach, we are still waiting to see whether Jim Schwartz will want to stick around as defensive coordinator — the latest on that situation is here. Garrett may not have been the most thrilled with how the Browns’ new coaching search panned out, if you go by his post on Instagram the day of the news:

It’s also been a controversial week for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, with the news that former Browns coach Bill Belichick will not be a first ballot Hall of Famer, as he fell shy of the 40 votes needed for the honor. Belichick made most of his legacy with the New England Patriots, but still, it’s probably the most surprising non-entry into the Hall of Fame in history. The Pro Football Hall of Fame issued a statement following online discussion about the omission. Rather than specifically talking about Belichick, it sounds like they are threatening to reprimand voters who are leaking discussions about the “whys” of a candidate (Belichick) was not voted in.
