The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown in 2024 to add some speed to their receiving corps.
Brown’s contract is set to expire at the end of the 2025 season, so Chiefs general manager Brett Veach will need to make a decision on the fleet-footed pass-catcher’s future in the coming weeks.

According to Spotrac.com, Brown earned a base salary of $3,500,000 in 2025. He was also paid a $3,000,000 signing proration, a $44,118 per-game active roster bonus, and a $250,000 workout bonus.
Brown’s total cap number for the 2025 season amounted to $6,985,294 and accounted for 2.4 percent of Kansas City’s total cap space.

Spotrac.com reports that the calculated market value of Brown’s next contract will be a deal that pays the speedy wide receiver $5,521,41 per season.

Kansas City will have limited resources during the 2026 NFL offseason, and the Chiefs may find that Brown is too expensive to retain. Expect Kansas City’s front office to restructure several other contracts before it considers re-signing Brown.
