According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Bengals have hired Davis Koetter as an assistant wide receivers coach.

Davis is the son of former NFL coach Dirk Koetter, formerly head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2016-2018, and currently at Boise State as an analyst.

Davis spotlighted at Boise State as a wideout before making the jump to the coaching ranks, where he had roles at Texas and South Carolina before making the jump to Cincinnati.

As of this writing, Jordan Salkin remains listed on the Bengals website as an assistant wideouts coach, too, so we’ll see what happens there.

For now, though, the Bengals will reportedly get at least one new outside addition to the staff.
