Of interest for the Jacksonville Jaguars, there were several defenders who stood out during Saturday’s Senior Bowl game.
Eric Edholm of NFL.com put together his three takeaways from the game, one of which highlighted the numerous standout performances on defense.
Given the current state of the Jaguars‘ roster, this could be an offseason where GM James Gladstone addresses the defensive side of the ball heavily.
Up front, depth at both defensive end and tackle are needed, not to mention more consistent pass rush juice from the interior is a requirement in 2026.
Linebacker could become a greater need if Devin Lloyd heads elsewhere in free agency, while at cornerback, Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome are currently slated to be free agents.
