Half of the NFL’s 32 teams are eligible to be forced into “Hard Knocks” this summer, including the Denver Broncos.

Last year, the league changed its criteria for teams that can’t turn down an appearance on the popular HBO and NFL Films show that follows a club through training camp. Now, teams can decline if they have a first-year head coach, are part of the division featured on the in-season version of “Hard Knocks,” or have been featured on the training camp version within the last eight seasons.

It’s still possible that the AFC West could be chosen as the division for the in-season version of “Hard Knocks” in 2026. If that happens, Denver would not be selected for the summer show. If the AFC West is not selected, the Broncos will be eligible to be featured during training camp.

With a hat tip to @NerdingonNFL, here’s a look at the 16 teams that could be featured on “Hard Knocks” this summer.

NFL teams eligible for Hard Knocks

Last year, the NFL announced the in-season division (the NFC East) and the training camp team (the Buffalo Bills) in May. The league will likely follow a similar timeline in 2026.
