Good morning Gang Green Nation! Last week the New York Jets finally hired a defensive coordinator – Brian Duker. This week it looks like they may finally get a new offensive coordinator. Darrell Bevell and Greg Roman have been confirmed for second interviews this week. A third candidate, widely assumed to be Frank Reich, will also interview. Once those interviews are conducted, presumably the Jets will move quickly to hire an offensive coordinator. After that, there are still numerous assistant coaching positions to be filled. Eventually the new staff will solidify. Then we can focus on free agency in less than six weeks and the 2026 NFL draft in late April. It won’t be long before this looks like an entirely different team than the one that finished the season in early January. With any luck different will translate into substantially better.
