The Tennessee Titans’ new coaching staff continues to take shape as Gus Bradley will become their defensive coordinator, a league source confirmed to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini. Bradley served as the assistant head coach of defense for the San Francisco 49ers in 2025 after three seasons as defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts. He follows Robert Saleh, who went from 49ers defensive coordinator to the Titans as their new head coach.

Bradley was a head coach for four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013-2016, amassing a 14-48 record. He has had stints as a defensive coordinator with the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders in addition to the Colts.

Bradley gives the Titans three former NFL head coaches filling positions, along with Saleh, who coached the New York Jets, and Brian Daboll, the new offensive coordinator, who coached the New York Giants.
