Two players on the Super Bowl LX bound New England Patriots grew up playing football in Montgomery County. Wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins have had big roles in the Patriots’ success this season and they will face Seattle this Sunday.

Diggs, from Gaithersburg, was a star athlete at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney. Diggs went on to play at the University of Maryland, before starting his NFL career in 2015. This season for the Patriots, Diggs has 85 catches for over 1,000 yards and four touchdown receptions.
A Rockville native, Hollins went to Thomas S. Wootton High School before heading to college to play at North Carolina. Hollins has been in the NFL since 2017. Hollins had two catches for 51 yards in the AFC Championship win over Denver. Hollins has also created some buzz because he uniquely only wears shoes when he plays football.
Super Bowl LX is set for this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. from Santa Clara, California.
