CHICAGO (CBS, KYMA) – A resident tarantula at Brookfield Zoo Chicago was called upon yet again to predict the winner of Super Bowl LX.
Charlotte the tarantula successfully predicted the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX and returned again to give her 2026 prediction during an enrichment session at the zoo.
Faced with a choice between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, Charlotte crawled decisively towards the Seahawks’ logo.
“She seems to be favoring animal-inspired mascots again, though maybe her choice is instinctual—after all, tarantulas know a thing or two about dodging birds, one of their top predators in the wild,” Brookfield Zoo Chicago said in a press release.
