ESPN’s NFL Nation reporters recently redrafted the 2025 NFL draft. So, who did the Jacksonville Jaguars come away with this time?

In the actual 2025 draft, the Jaguars traded up from pick No. 5 to pick No. 2 to select Travis Hunter. In the redraft, however, there weren’t any trades.

This means that the Jaguars picked at fifth overall and again in Round 2 at pick No. 36. Jacksonville didn’t actually make that pick last year as it was part of the deal with Cleveland to move up to pick No. 2.

Now with those details out of the way, who did the Jaguars select?

Well, at pick No. 5, Travis Hunter was still on the board, so that is who Jacksonville selected.

Unfortunately, Hunter’s season ended early due to a knee injury. And that injury occurred just as it looked like he was about to take off on the offensive side of the ball.

In Hunter’s final game against the LA Rams in Week 7, he caught his first touchdown pass and recorded his first 100-yard receiving game. His role moving forward on offense was about to expand.

On defense, Hunter made 14 of his 15 tackle attempts. In coverage, he allowed 9 completions on 15 targets at a modest 10.7 yards per catch. Hunter logged two pass breakups and was penalized twice.

From the sounds of it, Hunter will see more time at cornerback at least to begin 2026.

Then at pick No. 36, the Jaguars went with Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell. In the actual draft, Campbell went 31st overall to Philadelphia.

As a rookie, he played 712 defensive snaps, totaling 14 quarterback pressures and 78 tackles. In coverage, he had an interception and two pass breakups, according to PFF.

What Campbell’s role as a rookie would have looked like is unclear with Devin Lloyd and Foye Oluokun on the roster. But in 2026, with Lloyd set to hit free agency, the Jaguars would be more prepared for his potential departure.
