Denver BroncosWith the 30th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, there’s plenty of uncertainty around what the Denver Broncos will do in the first round. Fans have been campaigning for an offensive weapon, and in Lance Zierlein’s recent mock draft, the Broncos do just that.

After making a run to the AFC Championship Game, the Broncos will enter the 2026 season with a very strong roster that doesn’t feature many holes.

The only true need Denver has on defense is at linebacker, as Alex Singleton is now 32 years old and is set to hit free agency. After ranking 4th in scoring defense last season, it’s unlikely that Denver allocates significant draft capital to that side of the ball.

On the flip side, the Broncos ranked 15th in scoring offense. That’s not a glaring issue, but if Denver wants to take the next step, it should add to the offense.

Let’s discuss whether Zierlein made an impactful offensive addition in his mock draft.

Denver Broncos NFL Draft Picks

The Broncos hold one pick in the first round, and that comes at No. 30. Outside of that, they hold picks 62, 94, 108, 130, 168, 246, 251, and 255.

Denver Broncos 2026 NFL Mock Draft Analysis

With the 30th overall pick, Zierlein has the Broncos selecting KC Concepcion, the wide receiver out of Texas A&M.

Concepcion could go even higher than this, and he’s more than worthy of going in this spot.

The Cleveland Browns at No. 24 and Buffalo Bills at No. 26 are in play for him as well. In Zierlein’s mock draft, Cleveland decided to go with a combination of Carnell Tate (6th) and Caleb Lomu (24th), while the Bills chose to pass on Concepcion in favor of Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.

One reason why Concepcion has really seen his draft stock jump is his ability to play on the outside at 5’10” and 190 lbs. Although Concepcion proved he can win in the slot as a freshman (356 slot snaps), he moved to the outside more often in 2025 and found success.

Last year, Concepcion played 258 snaps out wide and 136 in the slot, putting together his best season in the process.

Possessing that kind of versatility should lock Concepcion into the first round of the NFL Draft.

Does KC Concepcion Fit in Denver?

Concepcion would be a perfect fit for the Broncos’ offense. For starters, they need some more weapons at wide receiver.

This past year, their second leading receiver was Troy Franklin with 709 yards, followed by tight end Evan Engram at 461. Franklin is a good player, but he could thrive as a WR3 rather than a WR2.

Concepcion, a smaller receiver, would be the perfect complement to Courtland Sutton, who comes in at 6’4” and 216 lbs.

Not only that, but the Broncos can get ahead of the curve with Sutton, who’s now 30 years old.

Not many mock drafts have Concepcion making it to the Broncos, but if he does, the choice should be an easy one.

KC Concepcion Stats

Concepcion broke out as a freshman at NC State with 71 catches, 839 yards, and 10 touchdowns. After a disappointing sophomore year, Concepcion transferred to Texas A&M for his junior season.

Against SEC competition, Concepcion caught 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns.
