You can watch San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan during the pregame coverage of Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium on NBC. We haven’t seen Shanahan in his media hat. You know what else we haven’t seen? Shanahan throwing a football indoors and smashing a television.
You’ll see festivities during Super Bowl week that you won’t see anywhere else. Case in point, like when former NFL quarterback and current general manager of the Stanford Cardinal, Andrew Luck, had a friendly toss with a member of the crowd. An innocuous, 5 to 10-yard soft toss that was easy to catch.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stood behind Shanahan, who loosened his arm, pointed to the back of the crowd on the opposite side of the restaurant, and fired a rocket into the corner of a TV.
Genuinely curious as to what the thought process was there, but we acknowledge how hilarious the decision to fire a football across the room in that setting is.
Never change, Kyle.
