If we’re truly in an open competition, again, I would stress, new coaching staff means new opportunities for every single player.

Like, you no longer have whatever that guy thought of you lording over anything.

You, you get a fresh start with the coaching staff.

I mean, if we’re just talking body of work over their entire career, we’ve seen more proof of concept from Deshaun than we’ve seen from S- Shedeur.

I, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see them roll the dice and just see, is there anything left with Deshaun?

Can he play?

Is there an opportunity?

You know, and that, that- even though Deshaun was off the field for obvious reasons, and then can’t stay healthy, I don’t know if his body can cooperate.

If his body does cooperate, I think Deshaun is the starting quarterback next year in Cleveland.

Shedeur is the backup, Dillon Gabriel is the odd man out.

We’ll see how an outside quarterback plays into that conversation, but with the pieces they already have, that, that makes the most sense to my mind.
