The Buffalo Bills will be under a magnifying glass in 2026, even more so than they already have been over the last handful of years. After firing Sean McDermott and promoting offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach, the Bills will enter their new stadium hoping to win their first Super Bowl under a first-time head coach.

While there is much uncertainty surrounding the Bills, one thing that is obvious is that they need more talent on both sides of the ball. They need multiple receivers, including a real, proven No. 1 talent, and they need a top-tier edge rusher – the latter of which has a big name reportedly on the market.
Buffalo Bills have golden opportunity to trade for Maxx Crosby
The trade rumors surrounding Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders have been getting warmer and warmer over the last two months. After the Raiders shut Crosby down for the final two games, he stormed out of the facility knowing he wouldn’t be able to play for the rest of the season. He then had surgery to repair his injured knee, but is expected to be a full go without missing any time in 2026.

Speaking with Yahoo Sports, NFL insider Jay Glazer says Crosby’s time with the Raiders is likely over.
“I do,” Glazer said when asked if he believes Crosby’s time with the Raiders is done.
Glazer adds that he believes the Raiders would land a haul greater than what the Dallas Cowboys received for Micah Parsons last August.
No matter what it takes, the Bills should be open to it. If it costs them a pair of first-round picks and a notable player, it’s a move they need to make. Crosby is the S-Tier game-changer that can help the Bills get over the hump. They can’t shy away from pulling the trigger on a deal to land the superstar from Eastern Michigan if it presents itself.
