Derrick Henry had quite the revelation during an interview with Michael Nied of People.

“We just had a new baby girl,” the Baltimore Ravens running back said Wednesday. “So my third girl, three girls in a row. I’m a girl dad.”

He and girlfriend Adrianna Rivas have five-year-old Valentina and one-year-old Celine, although he did not publicly say the name of his new child.

And it seems like his daughters are following in his footsteps when it comes to sports.

“My five-year-old, she’s playing basketball now and soccer,” he said. “So just watching her and watching that competitive spirit grow. Then my one-year-old, who will be two in April, [is] watching her big sister and can’t wait for her time to go play sports.”

If Henry’s NFL career is any indication, his daughters will also be excellent in sports.

After all, the five-time Pro Bowler and 2020 Offensive Player of the Year has seven seasons with more than 1,000 rushing yards and eight seasons with double-digit touchdown runs as one of the best running backs of his generation.

He led the NFL in rushing yards in 2019 (1,540) and 2020 (2,027) and was once again excellent in 2025 while running for 1,595 yards and 16 scores as a bright spot for a Ravens team that missed the playoffs.

He will once again be expected to help lead the offense under new head coach Jesse Minter next season, but first he will be busy as a father this offseason.
