The Buffalo Bills enter an offseason in which they need to knock the roster building out of the park. After another heartbreaking playoff loss, the Bills moved on from head coach Sean McDermott and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach. And while a head coach change is certainly easy to defend, what isn’t is the roster construction in 2025.

The Bills had no quality boundary receivers, which came back to haunt them in the postseason, once again. This puts a lot of pressure on general manager Brandon Beane to acquire a star pass-catcher for Josh Allen – something he has been unable to do since trading Stefon Diggs in 2024.
One name that Bills fans have been wishing for, despite knowing they probably won’t land him, is Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The All-World receiver had a down season with quarterback turmoil being the storyline in Minnesota. This has led many to speculate that Jefferson could try and get in another uniform, with the Bills being atop the list of potential destinations. Joining Up & Adams, Jefferson was asked about Bills fans clamoring to have him in western New York, to which he said he hears them.
“I’ve been hearing a couple [Bills} Mafia fans talking a little bit, here and there,” Jefferson said.
Jefferson played under Joe Brady while at LSU, as Brady was the pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach for LSU in 2019 when the Tigers won the National Championship.

Should he become available, Buffalo would definitely be a team to keep an eye on in terms of making a blockbuster trade for Jefferson.
