The Pittsburgh Steelers completely reshaped their coaching staff and identity over the past few weeks — and it appears head coach Mike McCarthy is ready to bring in yet another new hire.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Texas Tech outside linebackers coach C.J. Ah You, who previously interviewed with the Steelers, is expected to be named Pittsburgh’s new outside linebackers coach.

Ah You, a former player for the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams, transitioned to coaching in 2015 as Oklahoma’s special teams quality control coach. He also served as the defensive line coach for Vanderbilt (2016-2018), the defensive line coach New York Guardians (2020), the quality control analyst at USC (2021), and most recently the outside linebackers coach at Texas Tech (2022-2025).
