The Colorado Buffaloes have undergone multiple changes this offseason, most notably on the player side, which features several departures, including leading receiver Omarion Miller.

Miller entered the transfer portal this offseason and landed with Arizona State and head coach Kenny Dillingham, following in the footsteps of former CU wideout Jordyn Tyson. To further connect the two players and programs, Tyson hosted Miller during his transfer portal visit in January.

During an interview earlier this week, Miller juiced up the “rivalry,” stating that he hopes to beat Tyson’s draft position when he enters the 2027 NFL draft. Tyson is widely expected to be a first-round pick in this April’s NFL draft.

“I plan to try to beat him in his draft stock next year,” Miller said. “He was here on my official visit, and we chatted. Just getting a feel from him being from Colorado, I’m in that same boat, so it was good to hear what he had to say.”

Tyson was on the Buffs the season before Deion Sanders arrived in Boulder and was a player many thought would be a perfect fit for the new coaching staff. That never materialized, and now both Tyson and Miller will enter the NFL as Sun Devils.
