LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewiston High School has announced the hiring of two new head coaches to lead its athletic programs. Brady Bagby has been appointed as the head coach for the Lewiston girls’ basketball team, while Zane Hobart will take the helm of the Lewiston Bengals football team.
Zane Hobart, who previously worked at Kendrick High School, brings much experience in football leadership, player development, and program building. He expressed enthusiasm about leading the Bengals, emphasizing a vision of discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit that aligns with the values of the Lewiston community.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Coach Hobart to Lewiston,” Doug Henderson, LHS Athletic Director said. “His leadership, energy, and dedication to developing young athletes make him the ideal person to guide our football program.”
Brady Bagby, known for his strategic approach and focus on fundamentals, will lead the girls’ basketball program. Bagby, a former standout player and experienced coach, is recognized for his ability to foster a positive and competitive culture.
“Coach Bagby brings a depth of basketball knowledge and a proven track record of mentorship and success,” Henderson said. “We are excited about the direction he’ll take our program.”
Both coaches are set to begin working with their teams immediately as they prepare for the upcoming seasons.
