More than 16 months after he was arrested for an “extreme” driving under the influence offense, former Green Bay Packers star running back Eddie Lacy has learned his legal fate.

Eddie Lacy was arrested on Sept. 30, 2024, for driving under the influence in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to media reports, Lacy’s blood alcohol level was over four times the legal limit.

According to TMZ Sports, Lacy pleaded guilty to extreme DUI and was sentenced. As part of the agreement, the city attorney dropped six other charges against the 2013 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

More from TMZ Sports:

“He was sentenced to 180 days of confinement, a screening at the Youth and Family Services Behavioral Health and 30 hours of community restitution at an approved agency in his home state.”

In 2022, Eddie Lacy was also arrested in Scottsdale for driving under the influence. However, he avoided jail time and was ordered to pay a fine of $3,259.20.

The 35-year-old led the Alabama Crimson Tide to three national championships in four seasons (2009, 2011 and 2012). The Packers selected him in the second round (61st overall) in 2013.

Lacy spent his first four seasons with the Packers, missing most of the 2016 campaign due to injury. He attempted to revive his career with the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, but had just 179 rushing yards in nine games.
