Emmitt Smith is still hoping to see some of his Dallas Cowboys teammates in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The NFL’s all-time leading rusher joined The Rich Eisen Show this week, where he spoke up about wanting Darren Woodson and Erik Williams in the Hall. Woodson was once again a Hall of Fame finalist this year, while Williams has been a candidate for several years.

“Roger Craig had been waiting for 30 years. Darren Woodson is waiting, too. So is Eirk Williams, who’s waiting for his name just to be mentioned,” Smith said.

Smith added that he would like to see at least two of his 1990s offensive linemen in the Hall. Larry Allen was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.

“Erik Williams deserves his flowers because he had to block Reggie White, who’s a Hall of Famer. He had to block Michael Strahan. He had to block other guys — Chris Doleman — he had to block those kinds of guys, that are Hall of Famers,” Smith said. “I’m sitting back and saying, this is part of our championship team, which was the team of the decade in the 90s.

“We’ve got some good ones. Troy [Aikman], Michael [Irvin], myself. Charles Haley. [Deion Sanders]. We deserve some more.”

The Hall of Fame’s 2026 class was revealed Thursday night. This year’s enshrinees include Craig, Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly and Adam Vinatieri.

Smith’s Hall of Fame discussion started when he expressed his disappointment in Bill Belichick’s snub for 2026. Smith said he was considering not returning to Canton, Ohio due to the voting committee’s Belichick decision.

“I know they need me back. But man, I need them to do right,” Smith said. “We’ve done right for a long time. I had to do right for a long time in order to get there. Why shouldn’t they have the same methodology? They need to do right, and they need to revamp the whole entire voting process.”
