Leslie Frazier left the Buffalo Bills in 2022 and now will be taking on another Super Bowl, vying for his third-lifetime ring, this upcoming weekend with the Seattle Seahawks.

Frazier was dismissed by the Bills and former head coach Sean McDermott in 2022. The former defensive coordinator in Buffalo was blamed for the shortcomings of the team in the postseason, or so it appeared at the time.

During the lead up to Super Bowl 60 between the Seahawks and New England Patriots, Frazier discussed his former team in Buffalo and ex-head coach in McDermott… specifically relating to his firing.

But any narrative surrounding Frazier’s 2022 firing causing friction between him and McDermott can be put to bed.

“I sent him words of encouragement,” Frazier said. “If he wants to be a head coach again, he will be.”
