It turns out New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees has multiple reasons to be proud this week.
On Thursday night, Brees was officially voted into the the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’s part of the 2026 class alongside running back Roger Craig, kicker Adam Vinatieri, linebacker Luke Kuechly and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. There was no doubt Brees was going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. The former All-Pro quarterback finished his career with 80,358 passing yards and 571 touchdowns.

“Drew’s work ethic, preparation and passion for the game helped launch the New Orleans Saints to new heights. Drew raised the standard for excellence throughout our entire organization and established a culture of leadership and accountability that continues to guide us today. He elevated everyone around him and earned the deepest respect of all players, coaches, and staff across the organization,” Saints owner Gayle Benson said.
“In addition to his exceptional performance on the field and the victories he led, highlighted by the Super Bowl XLIV championship, Drew’s impact extended well beyond the game. Through his commitment to community service and leadership off the field, he played a significant role in inspiring and strengthening the Gulf South. Drew is unquestionably a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer, and we congratulate him as he rightfully takes his place among the greatest players in the history of the National Football League.”

Roughly 24 hours after Brees was voted into the Hall of Fame, he went on social media to shine the spotlight on his daughter, Rylen.

Brees had all three of his boys with him for Thursday night’s ceremony in San Francisco. His daughter, meanwhile, had a gymnastics meet in Long Beach. He shared footage of her performance for the whole world to see.
“So proud of my daughter Rylen,” the Hall of Famer wrote on Instagram. “I love her attitude and work ethic towards gymnastics! And she is such a great teammate.”
Being a Hall of Fame quarterback is pretty awesome, but clearly Brees values being a father more than anything else.
