Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase recently hit the interview circuit at the Super Bowl alongside Tee Higgins. Chase sent a little message to the Bengals front office in the process.

Unfortunately for Chase, a small hiccup during an interview got him on the receiving end of some shade from Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, too.

During an appearance on Pat McAfee’s show, Chase accidentally called Williams “Caleb Daniels,” which the crew was more than happy to run with for more than a minute in the name of a good laugh.

The whole clip is pretty fun (NSFW language):

While Williams shared the clip on social media, he was also quick to share a  little reply to Chase, too:

Ouch.

Bengals fans surely didn’t forget the Week 9 loss to Chicago before the bye, a 47-42 disaster in which 470 passing yards and four scores from Joe Flacco couldn’t win the day.

Still, it’s funny all around, especially considering Chase seemed to somehow mash together the names Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels.

But hey, that’s NFC ball. Surely Chase knows all the names of the AFC quarterbacks.

Right?
