It may seem like a pipe dream, but the day may come when the Cleveland Browns make the Super Bowl.

This raises the question — is it really worth selling our collective souls to the devil or the Haslams?

And then there’s the conundrum of who would introduce the Browns at America’s big game.

There’s a recent tradition of having celebrities introduce the teams at the start of the game.

Last year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs featured two actors — Philadelphia native Bradley Cooper and Jon Hamm, a lifelong Kansas City fan.

This year’s announcers for the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks include Jon Bon Jovi, who is a friend of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and actor Chris Pratt, who grew up not far from Seattle.

So, which celebrity has the biggest bark to be the face of the Browns at a Super Bowl?

The Cleveland Guardians tapped actor Tom Hanks to introduce fans to the team’s name change back in 2021.

Hanks credits Cleveland for starting his acting career as he earned his chops and an Actor’s Equity card at the Great Lakes Theater.

It should be noted the Guardians’ big announcement also featured the music of another pair of possible Browns Super Bowl announcers — Akron’s the Black Keys.

And then there’s that “Just a Kid” from Akron who has shattered NBA milestones and arguably has earned the moniker of being the GOAT (greatest of all time), LeBron James.

Actor Halle Berry, who is an Oscar-winner in addition to being a Bond girl, was born in Cleveland and graduated from Cuyahoga Community College, is another solid choice.

Although Condoleezza Rice, who was a national security adviser and the secretary of state, was born in Alabama, she has publicly professed over the years she is a diehard Browns fan.

There was a rumor at one time that she was in consideration to be the team’s head coach.

Another out-of-state candidate could be musician Machine Gun Kelly.

MGK was born in Texas and his family moved around a bit before calling the Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights home.

The NFL could get a twofer with MGK playing the halftime show, too.

They could even serve coffee from his 27 Club Coffee shop in Cleveland in the luxury suites.

And then there’s Cleveland native Drew Carey, who flunked out of Kent State twice before finding humor in the Marines.

The comedian went on to star in a self-titled TV sitcom that was a love letter to the city that has never seen a Super Bowl, even if the team’s payroll’s price was just right.

A more fitting tribute and a nod to the years of frustration and disappointment could simply be a mystery announcer … that certain fan who seems to show up for just about every home game who sits in the stands with a paper bag over their head.
