The Los Angeles Rams were a few plays away from going to Super Bowl LX. Now, they’ll be watching as spectators instead of participants while the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots face off for the Lombardi Trophy.
There will be some representation from the Rams organization at the Super Bowl, though, including players with experience in the biggest game of the year. Four former Rams players are on the Seahawks — two on the current active roster and two on the practice squad. Oddly enough, there aren’t any former Rams on the Patriots.
Here are the ex-Rams playing in Super Bowl LX.
WR Cooper Kupp
The most recognizable former Rams player will get a chance to win his second career Super Bowl. Kupp was named Super Bowl MVP in 2021 when he and the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals. While Kupp isn’t the Seahawks’ top pass-catcher, he’s caught nine passes for 96 yards and one touchdown in the playoffs so far.

Jones is another former Rams player with Super Bowl experience. He was a rookie in 2021 when the Rams won and spent three seasons in L.A. before being traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2024. Jones was traded to Seattle midway through the 2024 season and re-signed the Seahawks this past offseason. He led the team with 126 combined tackles and five interceptions this year.
RB Cam Akers
Akers is on the Seahawks practice squad but could be promoted to the active roster ahead of the game. At the moment, Seattle only has two healthy running backs in Kenneth Walker and George Holani.
Akers was a second-round pick by the Rams in 2020 but missed most of the 2021 season with an Achilles injury. He did, however, heal up in time for the Super Bowl, where he rushed 13 times for 21 rushing yards and caught three receptions for 14 receiving yards. He played with the Rams until the 2023 season, when he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. Akers bounced around between a few teams before landing with the Seahawks late in 2025 season.
LB Chris Paul Jr.
Paul Jr. was the Rams’ fifth-round pick in 2025, but was waived before the season started. Seattle picked him up and added him to the practice squad. Paul Jr. hasn’t played in the regular season yet.
