It’s clear that Denver Broncos players feel they were robbed of a trip to the Super Bowl.

After losing starting quarterback Bo Nix to a season-ending ankle injury in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, the Broncos had to play against the New England Patriots with their backup QB in the AFC Championship game. Following a 10-7 loss in the AFC title game, players have said — directly and indirectly — that they would have reached the Super Bowl with a healthy Nix.

After getting so close and barely missing out, Denver players are highly motivated to make it back next season. Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton chimed in on Twitter/X the morning of Super Bowl LX.

“Today sucks…. But man is it even more motivating,” Singleton tweeted.

The Patriots are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl this evening. Both teams are scheduled to play against the Broncos next season.
