One NFL fan is already having a rough night.
According to X user Scott Friedman, somebody listed their Super Bowl ticket for $50 on SeatGeek and it got purchased right away. If that was a mistake, it likely cost the fan thousands of dollars. Perhaps the fan meant to list the ticket for $5,000.
According to the X post, the seat was located in section 108, row 18.
“What a deal of a lifetime!” Friedman commented.
Under Friedman’s post, other people expressed amazement with the ticket price.
“Ops someone forgot a few 0s on there.”
“Haha forgot a couple zeros??”
“A 9 pack?!? That had to have been some sort of error.”
Another person asked an important question: “Has anyone gotten confirmation that the tickets were sent? Do we think the seller was like, “oops I made a mistake“ and is not gonna send the tickets?”
According to the comments, digital tickets are transferred in minutes. The fan might have already lost his money.
But we may never know the truth behind what happened with the ticket. It’s a crazy scenario to even think about.
