Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s wife Hailee Steinfeld is sharing a personal admission about her deepest fears and emotions.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are officially in the offseason, and he’s shaping up to become a first-time father with his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld. Allen and the Bills made it to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs back on Saturday, January 17, but their trip to the big game fell flat with a close loss to the Denver Broncos on the road.

Now, Allen is preparing for the offseason, but he’s also getting ready to become a dad. His wife, Hailee, is also getting ready to become a mother, but in the meantime, she’ll been dedicating time to her newsletter, called the “Beau Society.”

On Friday, February 6, Steinfeld sent out a unique edition of the newsletter, where she answers questions from readers. Some of those questions got personal, but Hailee appeared candid and open in her answers, and it sheds light on who she is as a person.

Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen’s Wife Hailee Steinfeld Admits Her Fears

In the newsletter, one reader named Olga asked, “What part of acting still scares you, even now?” Her answer may be unexpected, because she admitted that she still does get scared in front of the screen.

“All of it,” she said. “Showing up on the first day of a set and feeling like I’ve never acted before in my life. Acting also has an innate way of constantly pushing you towards, if not over, your limits…mentally, emotionally, physically. That can be scary. But oftentimes it’s the best part.”

Another reader named Deborah asked if she would ever get back into singing and making music. “While I have no plans to make music right at this exact moment, do I think about it? All the time. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and if it makes sense to get back in a studio, it’s an easy yes,” she replied. “But the music industry has changed quite a bit over the last few years. I don’t feel as creatively fulfilled by music as much as I used to. I love the way Charli XCX writes about this.”

Hailee Steinfeld on Being Pregnant

Steinfeld also opened up about how her life has changed being pregnant. A reader named Meredith asked if her workout routine has changed since becoming pregnant.

“At this point, they’re a little slower. I’m prioritizing listening to my body, which has been a consistent thing I’ve always done when it comes to working out, regardless of my physical state. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of walking. Sometimes I set out for 30 minutes, and it ends up being 15, or less than that. I’m taking it slow, but movement is key.”

She added, “The other day, I felt like I should be going up and down the stairs more, so I started doing some housework that had me going up and down the stairs, and afterwards I was like, ‘Okay, I’m good with stairs for a while!’”

The full newsletter is available to read on her Substack, and you don’t need to be a member or sign up to view the post.
