The Birds have 21 players who’ll test the restricted or unrestricted free-agent market during the 2026 NFL offseason. Several key factors include a pending contract extension for Jalen Carter and the contract status for star tight end Dallas Goedert.
Reed Blankenship is one of the biggest names on the list, and the defense could look drastically different with Nakobe Dean entering the final year of his rookie deal.

OLB Josh Uche-Void
The 27-year-old Uche played in 12 games and recorded 1 sack.

TE Grant Calcaterra- UFA
The 2022 sixth-round pick just finished his fourth season in the NFL, and likely played his last game in Philadelphia. A Former college teammate of Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma, eaching the end of his rookie contract. Calcaterra played in 62 games with 22 starts.
WR Jahan Dotson- Void
A former Commanders first-round pick, Dotson spent two unproductive seasons with the Eagles, playing in 34 games and recording 37 catches on 69 targets for 478 yards and one regular-season touchdown.
OL Brett Toth UFA
A versatile and solid lineman, the 29-year-old played 363 snaps at center and guard, allowing two sacks.
QB Sam Howell: UFA
The Eagles acquired Howell via trade in August, making him the third-string quarterback. He didn’t play a single game with the Eagles this season, but could certainly return.
OLB Ogbo Okornokwo: UFA
Okoronkwo played in just one game this season and landed on IR.
RB A.J. Dillon-UFA
Dillon signed a one-year deal with Philadelphia after missing last season with a neck injury, but things didn’t work out. The veteran running back lost his role when the Eagles brought in Tank Bigsby via trade. Dillon, 27, ended up with just 12 rushing attempts for 60 yards this season.
S Marcus Epps: UFA
The Eagles signed Epps to their practice squad at the start of the season and eventually promoted him to the active roster. When rookie Drew Mukuba fractured his ankle, Epps regained his starting role at safety next to Blankenship.
CB Adoree’ Jackson-Void
The 30-year-old veteran signed a one-year deal with the Eagles in the offseason and improved for Vic Fangio as the season went on, outplaying Kelee Ringo and Jakorian Bennett.
