NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Saints face long odds to win Super Bowl 61, with Caesar Sportsbook listing them at 110-1 following the Seattle Seahawks’ victory in Super Bowl 60.
The Seahawks entered the season with 60-1 odds to win the championship, while their opponent, the New England Patriots, had 100-1 odds. Both teams defied expectations to reach the title game.
At the beginning of the 2025 NFL season, Seahawks were 60-1 and Patriots 100-1 to win Super Bowl 60.
The Saints are currently 110-1 to win Super Bowl 61 according to Caesars Sportsbook.

The Patriots’ championship run mirrors other recent upsets in sports. The Indiana Hoosiers won the national championship despite 100-1 odds.
At FanDuel Sportsbook, Saints quarterback Tyler Shough is listed at 100-1 to win MVP. DraftKings has the Saints at plus 350 to win the NFC South, with only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of them. The Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons trail behind.
Drew Brees Hall of Fame election adds optimism
This past weekend marked the 16th anniversary of the Saints’ “ambush” victory over the Indianapolis Colts in their first and only Super Bowl championship following the 2009 season.
Drew Brees was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday. Brees was the key player in that Super Bowl victory over Indianapolis.
The NFL draft is scheduled for the end of April, followed by organized team activities. The Saints will return to the field for those sessions after the offseason break.
