New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough was in Saturday night’s Krewe of Pygmalion parade, and the rookie’s arm got a full workout in during the celebration. A clip of Shough chucking beads into the crowd while parading New Orleans’ streets went viral on Saturday night, and led to funny reactions.

The video post from the Saints’ X account has over 4 million views, as of Monday afternoon.

“Yo, tell him to throw softer,” @Beck4MVP posted. “He’s [going to] take someone out tossing like that.”

“He is going to miss training camp throwing that hard,” Rod Walker posted. “Not sure what his completion percentage is, but I shamefully dropped two passes.”

This was Shough’s first Mardi Gras season. The 26-year-old decided to stay in New Orleans for his first offseason because he and his wife Jordan are expecting the birth of their first child this month.

Shough has also been spotted around town picking up King Cakes. He’s been on podcasts where he said he will try a variety of king cakes before he decides on a favorite.

Shough finished second in AP NFL Rookie of the Year voting and won the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Year honors.
