Atlanta Falcons President and CEO Greg Beadles recently announced the promotion of Vice President, Operations Spencer Treadwell to Senior Vice President, Operations and Special Projects.

Originally beginning his career with the Atlanta Falcons as an intern after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., Treadwell begins his 30th season with the organization being named Senior Vice President, Operations and Special Projects. In this role, Treadwell will continue overseeing the ongoing renovations and construction at IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, Ga., and will lend his expertise across AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) to and including the development of a world-class training ground for NWSL Atlanta 2028 to ensure the new training ground matches the quality and operability of the other practice facilities in the AMBSE portfolio.

“Throughout his career with the Falcons, Spencer has served in numerous roles within our operations department and has consistently met every responsibility and project head-on,” said Beadles. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Spencer for 30 years, and I’m confident there is no project too large for Spencer to tackle. His expertise in facility and project management, and transportation and travel coordination are invaluable to our organization. As a dedicated leader and a trusted mentor and friend to many throughout our building, Spencer puts our values in action, and I have full confidence in him as he steps into this new role.”

During his tenure with the club, Treadwell led all operations at IBM Performance Field and other locations across AMBSE, played a role in all Falcons operational executions at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, directed the construction of Atlanta United’s Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta, Ga., and led transportation and travel coordination for the club, among several other responsibilities.

“Growing up in Georgia and spending the past three decades of my career with the Falcons, my connection and love for this organization runs deep and is part of who I am,” said Treadwell. “I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by outstanding leaders and teammates throughout my career here. I’m truly appreciative of the trust and support Arthur, Greg and our leadership team have given me over the years, and I’m honored to take on this new challenge.”

A native of Stone Mountain, Ga., and a graduate of Tucker (Ga.) High School, Treadwell started with the organization’s marketing department before transitioning into a logistics role during the Falcons run to Super Bowl XXXIII in 1998. Treadwell managed team travel for the organization for over 20 years, including several international trips to Japan, Canada, and England.

Treadwell and his wife, Julie, are the parents of two daughters, Avery and Alli, and one son, Zach, and reside in Buford, Ga.
