The 2025 season is complete after a thrilling Super Bowl. Now the work begins for all 32 teams to retool their roster and prepare for a potential playoff appearance next season. After an offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator change, the Eagles‘ roster will likely undergo further changes. The Birds have 21 players who’ll test the restricted or unrestricted free-agent market during the 2026 NFL offseason. Several key factors include a pending contract extension for Jalen Carter and the contract status for star tight end Dallas Goedert.

With the NFL off-season officially underway, we’re looking at 15 under-the-radar free agents Philadelphia could target.

Ar’Darius Washington, DB

Washington is undersized at 5-foot-8, and he missed most of the 2025 season with an Achilles injury suffered before the season. In 2024, Washington appeared in 12 games and played a significant role in the Baltimore secondary, performing like one of the NFL’s best after a dismal first seven to eight weeks. In 2024, Washington finished with a career-high 64 tackles, two interceptions, one sack, one forced fumble, and five tackles for loss in 10 starts playing in the slot, in the box, and as a deep safety and ranked fifth among safeties with an 86.1 PFF coverage grade.

Jalen Thompson, S

Thompson’s contract is set to be voided, and he’ll have suitors after logging 95 tackles, 1.0 sack, six pass defenses, and one forced fumble over 15 regular-season appearances in 2025.

A nine-year veteran, Anzalone is a solid run defender and capable blitzer. As a coverage linebacker, Anzalone offers elite lateral quickness and eye discipline to nullify running backs. After missing time due to injury, Anzalone had 2.5 sacks and eight pass breakups in Detroit last season.

Coby Bryant, S

A versatile safety with elite ball skills, Bryant had four interceptions this season and a total of seven over his past two. Overall, Bryant has 7 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 5 passes broken up over his past two seasons.

 Kamren Curl, DB

A versatile safety who has improved each season, in 2025, Curl recorded 122 tackles, leading the team with 79 solo tackles, two sacks, five pass breakups, and two interceptions, while allowing one touchdown and an 89.5 passer rating in coverage.

Damar Hamlin, DB

Hamlin missed 13 games last season and was placed on IR in early October after seeing just 12 defensive snaps in the first five weeks of the season.

Quinton Bell, Edge Rusher

Bell has appeared in 30 career games with three starts in five seasons with Tampa Bay (2020), Atlanta (2022), and Miami (2023-25). He has recorded 38 tackles (15 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble in his career, in addition to four special teams tackles.

Jack Jones, CB

Jones compiled a career-high 77 tackles (49 solo) in 17 regular-season appearances in 2025, along with six passes defensed, including one interception, and two forced fumbles.

Brady Christensen, OL

A veteran offensive guard, Christensen missed a huge chunk of the 2025 season after going down against the Buffalo Bills in October.

A.J. Epenesa, Edge Rusher

Epenesa logged 32 total tackles (17 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and four passes defensed, including two interceptions, in 16 regular-season games in 2025. The former Iowa pass rusher saw declines in several statistical categories compared to the 2024 season, logging fewer total tackles (39 to 32), sacks (6.0 to 2.5), and forced fumbles (two to zero) while playing significantly fewer defensive snaps (583 to 434).

Teven Jenkins, OL

The veteran offensive guard logged a 77.7 PFF grade in 324 snaps.

Zion Johnson, OL

Johnson is a former first-round pick who spent the past four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. He will enter free agency at just 27 years old, and logged a 57.0 grade from PFF in 1,071 snaps.

Arden Key, Edge Rusher

Key finished his 2025 campaign with 22 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, in 12 contests.

Charlie Kolar, TE

A 22nd-round pick of the Ravens, Kolar is a capable blocker, underused in the passing games, and averaged 13.6 yards per reception in his career.

Roger McCreary, CB

Back in October, the Titans acquired a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft from the Rams in exchange for McCreary and the Titans’ 2026 conditional sixth-round pick.

McCreary’s rookie contract is set to expire at the end of this season, at which point he will become a free agent. A 2022 second-round pick, McCreary’s 69.2 PFF grade was 28th in the NFL.

Dylan Parham, OL

A four-year starter with the Raiders, Parham is a solid offensive guard who is only 26 and offers some upside.

K’Lavon Chaisson, Edge Rusher

On a team that reached the Super Bowl, Chaisson started 10 games in a limited role, which was expanded, recording 31 tackles, 7.5 sacks (second-most on the team), and a fumble-return touchdown. He set career highs in sacks and tackles for a loss this season. Chaisson’s 54 quarterback pressures in the regular season ranked tied for 18th among edge defenders, and he added another 18 in the playoffs.

Andre Cisco, DB

The former third-round draft selection out of Syracuse sustained a season-ending pectoral injury during a Week 8 win over Cincinnati and underwent surgery the following week. Before the injury, Cisco had played all but 1 defensive snap, and his 41 tackles were the second most on the team through 8 contests.

Chidobe Awuzie, CB

Awuzie logged a 75.3 PFF coverage grade with the Ravens in 2025, ranking 15th among cornerbacks. The 30-year-old Awuzie logged seven pass breakups from 408 coverage snaps in 2025. He is still good enough to be a starter in the NFL.

CB Joshua Williams, Kansas City Chiefs

Williams played just 17 snaps in 2025 but has shown flashes throughout his career and earned a PFF coverage grade of 64.6 or better in three consecutive seasons from 2022 to 2024.
