The New York Giants have added former Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan to their candidate pool for their vacant quarterbacks coach position.
Callahan was most recently the Titans’ head coach from 2024-25. He went 6-28 in his two seasons in Tennessee. The Illinois native spent five seasons as offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals (2019-23).
Callahan has 16 years of experience in the NFL. The 41-year-old served as a quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions (2016-17), in addition to the Oakland Raiders (2018), after spending six seasons within the Denver Broncos’ organization in various roles. Callahan coached reigning AP NFL MVP Matthew Stafford on the Lions, as well as QB Derek Carr in Oakland.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that the Giants will interview Callahan for their vacant QB coach position.
The Giants continue to build their coaching ranks around coach John Harbaugh, who signed with the team in the offseason. New York’s quarterback room includes starter Jaxson Dart, as well as backup Jameis Winston.
