It’s safe to say Chicago Bears owner George McCaskey is happy with his quarterback.
The Bears spent the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Caleb Williams, and after a rookie season full of ups and downs, the former Heisman Trophy winner put on a show last season.
Williams provided a ton of highlight-reel plays while leading the Bears to an NFC North title, coming up just short of a trip to the NFC title game.
Speaking from Radio Row during Super Bowl week, Bears owner George McCaskey couldn’t help but praise his young quarterback:

The Bears have never had a true franchise quarterback to rally around. Sure, there have been a few blips on the radar over the years, but nobody who moves the needle like Williams already has after just two seasons.
There’s little doubt at this point the Bears made the right pick in a loaded quarterback class back in 2024, and the sky is the limit from here.
