JACKSONVILLE – Senior writer John Oehser examines 10 statistics that shaped the Jaguars’ 2025 AFC South Championship season

1. Thirty-eight. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence‘s turnaround season was defined more by level of play and second-half-of-the-season improvement than statistics, but make no mistake: The statistic that perhaps best defined his improvement was his franchise-record 38 touchdowns – 29 passing and nine rushing. Lawrence in the second half of the season emerged as a Most Valuable Player candidate, throwing 19 touchdowns and rushing for five during the team’s eight-game season-ending winning streak while throwing just seven interceptions. Lawrence’s 38 touchdowns ranked third in the NFL behind Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (46) and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (38). Lawrence’s 4,007 yards passing gave him three 4,000-yard passing seasons in the last four seasons.
