Kedrick Bingley-Jones confirmed the NCAA has approved a waiver for him to play for the Crimson Tide in 2026.
The upcoming college football season would be his seventh year. He signed with North Carolina as a member of the 2020 recruiting class. He spent four seasons with the Tar Heels before transferring to Mississippi State for the 2024 football season. He was a Bulldog for two seasons before entering the transfer portal and committing to Alabama.
Injuries have plagued Bingley-Jones throughout his career so far. He did not appear in a game in 2020 due to an injury. He missed 10 games in 2023 and eight games in 2024 with injuries.
Fortunately for the North Carolina product, he was healthy throughout the 2025 season. He started in all 13 games for the Bulldogs and finished the season with 25 total tackles.
