BRIDGEWATER, Va. (WHSV) – Bridgewater officially unveiled its 2025 football schedule Friday afternoon, setting the stage for a season featuring marquee matchups and historic showdowns.
The season kicks off under the lights at Jopson Athletic Complex on Sept. 6 as the Eagles host Stevenson in a rare meeting—the teams’ first clash since 2019. A tough road test at national semifinalist Susquehanna follows on Sept. 13 to wrap up non-conference play.
Bridgewater opens ODAC action on Sept. 20 against Randolph-Macon. Road games at Averett (Sept. 27) and Shenandoah (Oct. 4) come next, before a highly anticipated Homecoming game against Roanoke on Oct. 11—marking the Maroons’ return to varsity football after an 80-year hiatus.
New ODAC associate member Gallaudet visits on Oct. 18, followed by a trip to Washington and Lee (Oct. 25), a bye, and a Nov. 8 contest at Hampden-Sydney. The Eagles wrap up the regular season at home against Guilford on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.
