Not all NFL fans are superstitious, but most are at least a little stitious.
Every year, when the NFL unveils the next Super Bowl logo, fans instantly check the colors to see if they match up with any of the league’s 32 teams. The logo for Super Bowl LXI — scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, in 2027 — features an orange sky with a green wave.
Fans quickly pointed out that the orange could fit for the Denver Broncos, and the Philadelphia Eagles have been a common suggestion for the NFC, given the green water. Have the colors revealed “The Script”? Here’s a sampling of how Twitter/X reacted.
Super Bowl LXI will be played at the home of the Los Angeles Rams and L.A. Chargers on Sunday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day) in 2027. The game will be televised on ABC and ESPN, marking the first time a Super Bowl has aired on ESPN.
