The Tennessee Titans are set to hire a brand new staff member with family ties to head coach Robert Saleh.

Frank Bush served as linebackers coach for the Titans in 2025, and John Fassell was the special teams coordinator in Tennessee. Linebacker Cody Barton led the Titans with three interceptions last season, while linebacker Cedric Gray finished second behind first-team All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (17) in tackles for loss with 7.

Punt returner Chimere Dike was named first-team All-Pro in 2025. Tennessee’s linebacker room, in addition to its special teams unit, will have a new leader in 2026.

CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reports that the Titans are set to hire Wayne State linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Ahmed Saleh to join their coaching staff for next season in those capacities.

Saleh began his collegiate coaching career as a defensive graduate assistant coach at Colorado State University from 2018-19. He then served as special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach at Madonna University from 2020-21. Saleh was the safeties coach at Northern Michigan in 2023 before beginning his tenure with Wayne State in 2024.
