CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Browns released new renderings with a video explaining more about the new domed Brook Park stadium.
The renderings show a new look inside the stadium, with an emphasis on the sloped roof and the fan seating.
The roof, which is pitched at an angle, is expected to help with snow removal due to the slope. According to lead architect Lance Evans, that also allows for the Browns to use less materials on the roof itself.
As for the fan seating, the Browns have repeatedly stated that the upper decks of the new Huntington Bank Field with be the closest to the field of any stadium with a larger lower bowl at the new stadium as well.
The new dog pound will essentially be a vertical wall right next to the visiting team’s entrance point.
The stadium construction has begun with dirt moving at the Brook Park site for the last few months. An official groundbreaking has yet to be announced.
