SEATTLE — A number of players from the Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks are extending their celebration this week with a series of promotional appearances across the Puget Sound, giving fans more chances to meet their favorite players.

Tight end AJ Barner, who scored the first touchdown in Sunday’s 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots, will appear at the McDonald’s on 4th Avenue near Seattle Center at 11 a.m. Thursday. The first 100 fans in line will have the opportunity to meet Barner.

He was a fan favorite during Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade after getting off the team bus and dancing for the crowd.

The promotional tour kicked into high gear Tuesday when quarterback Sam Darnold made an appearance at the new Raising Cane’s location in the University District. Fresh from a trip to Disneyland with Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, Darnold served chicken fingers to fans that showed up.

“On behalf of myself and the entire team, we just want to thank you guys,” Darnold told the cheering crowd gathered outside the restaurant.

Wide receiver Cooper Kupp also met with fans after Wednesday’s parade at Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Tacoma Mall for an autograph signing session with 12s.

“I’ve said unbelievable a thousand times,” Kupp said of the week’s festivities. “This is a special team. This is a special fan base.”

Kupp, who is from Yakima, said it was a great chance to meet fans and tell them thank you.

Safety Julian Love, the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, is scheduled to visit Virginia Mason Medical Center later on Thursday. Love has been actively involved in community service throughout the season, including previous visits to Virginia Mason’s Critical Care Unit where he spent time with heart surgery patients.
