(WBFF) — Jamal Lewis – the Ravens first-round pick in 2000, a Super Bowl champion in his rookie season, and owner of the third-most rushing yards in a single season from his 2003 campaign – received a pardon from President Trump today, according to Trump’s “pardon czar” Alice Marie Johnson.

Lewis was charged in 2004 with conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute five kilograms of cocaine and using a cell phone in the commission of the first count. He reached a plea agreement in October of that year and was ultimately sentenced to four months in federal prison.

Lewis was among five former NFL players to receive pardons, Johnson said.
