LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has hit the ground running to fill out his staff.
The team is reportedly expected to hire former NFL head coach Mike McCoy as an assistant under Kubiak. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first to report the news.
McCoy was most recently the interim head coach for the Tennessee Titans this past season, taking over the role from Brian Callahan after previously serving as a senior offensive assistant.

He has prior head coaching experience as well, having led the Chargers for four seasons from 2013-2016. He’s also been an offensive coordinator for Denver and Arizona and a quarterbacks coach for Jacksonville.
Kubiak previously worked as an assistant under McCoy during their time with the Broncos.
The Raiders are also reportedly interviewing for their top coordinator roles. That includes Seattle Seahawks receivers coach Frisman Jackson for offensive coordinator, per ESPN, and the current run game coordinator/defensive line coach, Rob Leonard, for defensive coordinator.
