Franck Cignetti Jr. carries the label of senior offensive assistant as one of the previously unnamed roles. C.J. Ah You is officially the outside linebackers coach while Shawn Howe, who was reported as being the outside linebackers coach as well, has the title of defensive assistant.

There were also a number of new names who had not been reported to the Steelers previously. Tight ends coach Robert Kugler joins the Steelers staff as tight ends coach after spending 2024 and 2025 as the New England Patriots assistant offensive line coach. This is now the second former assistant offensive line coach who is now coaching a different position with the Steelers as running backs coach Raymon Chinyoung Sr. was the assistant offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys last season.

Steelers game management/quarterbacks coach Tim Berbenich has been in the NFL in coaching or front office since 2000, beginning with the New York Jets. Most recently, Berbenich was the pass game specialist/game management for the Atlanta Falcons the last two seasons.

The Steelers also had some new names with the strength and conditioning team in Abe Munayer and Justus Galac. Galac was with the Steelers the last two seasons where Munayer is coming from the college ranks where he had been at San Jose State since 2021.
