Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson and safety DeShon Singleton have been invited to the 2026 NFL scouting combine. The combine occurs from Feb. 23 through Mar. 2.
Johnson had a tremendous year for the program. He recorded 251 carries for 1,451 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry. In addition to what he was able to do in the running game, he also had an impact in the passing game. He caught 46 passes for 370 yards and three touchdowns. He had 1,821 total yards from scrimmage.

Singleton had a stellar 2025 campaign as well. He had 70 tackles, a sack, four passes defended, and two interceptions. He finished the 2025 season as an honorable-mention All-Big Ten selection.
Both these players represented Nebraska in a major way. Now, they will have the opportunity to showcase their talents for the next level. The 2026 NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
