The 2025 NFL season has come to a close, leaving us ready to start the NFL draft process.
Heading into the draft, the first priority is clear: Michael Penix Jr. needs another weapon on the outside. Bijan Robinson, obviously, is a superstar, as is Drake London, so there’s talent on this offense, but outside of those two and the surprisingly-broke-out Kyle Pitts, it’s barren in the passing game.
The Falcons could also use some help on the offensive line as well as in the secondary in this draft. Unfortunately for them, they only have five picks to work with, and none of them are in the first round.
In this mock draft, we take a look at a full seven round Atlanta Falcons mock draft based on their current pick selections, with no trades and no information on how free agency shakes out.
Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft Picks
Round 2, Pick 48: Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
Round 3, Pick 79: Anthony Lucas, EDGE, USC
Round 4, Pick 114: Logan Jones, OC, Iowa
Round 6, Pick 195: Zxavian Harris, DT, Ole Miss
Round 7, Pick 231: Collin Wright, CB, Stanford
Draft Analysis
Elijah Sarratt is the perfect fit for this offense as a true WR2-type with a high floor that can step in and play right away. While he’s not likely to develop into an elite player, he’s going to create enough trouble for defenses if they continue to shade coverage over to Drake London’s side of the field. This should open up just about everything here, so long as Micahel Penix Jr. can continue to take leaps forward developmentally.
There’s still questions on the defensive side of the ball, but the hope with adding two defensive linemen is that they can create enough pressure to hide some of their deficiencies – or perhaps they address them through free agency.
Fantasy Impacts
Elijah Sarratt instantly becomes draftable, albeit as a later-round pick, in redraft leagues. In pre-draft best ball leagues over on Underdog, his current ADP is 169.1, and I would expect that to rise if the Falcons becomes his landing spot. He’s likely a late first or early second round pick in dynasty.
