Maybe there ain’t no love in Carolina for country music star Luke Combs.

The Grammy-nominated recording artist might not be up for a “Fan of the Year” award anytime soon, as some fellow members of the Panthers faithful have taken exception to his choice of headwear. Combs, in promoting his new single, “Be By You,” posted some pictures of himself and his wife on Twitter/X late Thursday night—with at least one of the shots featuring a Jacksonville Jaguars hat.

A Huntersville, N.C. native, Combs has not been shy about his Panthers fandom. But other fans don’t seem so sure of that now . . .

While many folks take their fandom very seriously, Combs’ cap is really much ado about nothing. This wouldn’t be the first time he or another popular musician repped the town they were performing for.

So hopefully for Combs, these fans will still learn to love him anyway.
