Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will be a major talking point throughout the NFL as the offseason gets underway.
Last offseason, the Steelers agreed to a one-year contract with Rodgers. They were hoping to go all-in on winning a Super Bowl. While the team did make the playoffs, they were promptly eliminated by the Houston Texans in the Wild Card.
Entering the NFL offseason, Rodgers is a free agent once again. There have been many rumblings about him simply re-signing with Pittsburgh, but retirement is another option. Rodgers could also receive interest from another team, such as the Minnesota Vikings.

Keeping that in mind, the Steelers have received a strong urging to make a bold decision regarding Rodgers.
Pittsburgh Steelers Receive Strong Aaron Rodgers Message from Former NFL Star
Former Pittsburgh safety Ryan Clark believes that the team should move on from the future Hall of Fame quarterback. He would rather see the Steelers pursue another quarterback option this offseason instead.
During an appearance on “Inside the NFL,” Clark shared what he would like to see Pittsburgh do this offseason at the quarterback position.
“I want the Pittsburgh Steelers to move on from Aaron Rodgers and acquire Malik Willis,” Clark said. “His passing has now ascended, he’s pushing the football down the field. Now, under Mike McCarthy, you’re not just piecemealing or putting a Band-Aid on the quarterback position. You’re getting possibly your quarterback of the next decade.
Willis is coming off of two years with the Green Bay Packers. He was the backup behind Jordan Love, but was asked to come in and play when Love missed time due to injury.

He performed admirably in those opportunities. Now, he seems destined to receive another shot at winning a starting job with a new team in free agency. The Steelers do make a lot of sense as a potential landing spot.
Throughout his 22-game NFL career, the 26-year-old signal caller has completed 67.7 percent of his pass attempts for 1,322 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions. He has also picked up 405 yards and scored four touchdowns on the ground.
